This is a great way to kick off the Canberra Centenary Year, led by the local artists, writers and musicians of Canberra - a "not-for-profit" arts project celebrating their creative work with the rest of the world! This Icarus Project emanates out of New York, and is the brainchild of Seth Godin, a thought leader and prolific writer, who has created this project to celebrate artists and their creative art around the globe. To date, there are over 900 communities around the globe who will be participating and celebrating/sharing their art. To celebrate the Centenary Canberra's Arts community will be contributing and it is hoped that the YouTube/Vimeo video channels (Icarus- Canberra) of Canberra artists will grow in contributions throughout January. There is a web site which is under construction right now, but meanwhile, for further details see MeetUp website.
