Lake Burley Griffin springs to life over the Australia Day weekend, with two sailing events: the Australian Spiral Championships and the Chief Minister’s Regatta.

The Australian Spiral Class Championships sees both young and experienced sailors vying for the national championship crown. The Chief Minister’s Regatta on Australia Day includes sailors from every class of dinghy, catamaran, trailer sailor and keel boat.

Hosted by the Canberra Yacht Club, the Regatta brings a great weekend of racing which can be enjoyed by all from a leafy and relaxed foreshore looking out to the lake, the city and mountains.
