World-renowned sculptor and visual artists, Patricia Piccinini, who grew up in Canberra, has been commissioned to design an artwork that will be delivered as a hot air balloon for the Centenary of Canberra.
As part of the Patricia Piccinini Commission for the Centenary of Canberra, Canberra Museum and Gallery will hold an exhibition in its Gallery Four space which explores the poignant and playful connections the artist makes between human and nonhuman species.
