Canberra History Units of Work
The Canberra History Units of Work provide an exciting and practical insight into Canberra's selection and early development as the national capital while also generating discussion on aspects of Canberra's future.
They are fun and engaging and it is timely for students to learn more about the history and development of their national capital prior to the Centenary of Canberra year of celebration in 2013.
All teachers locally, in Canberra, and nationally are encouraged to download and use these units of work. These units have recently been aligned to the Australian Curriculum: History and they provide the opportunity for all students to increase their pride in their national capital.
